THE DIDIKAI BUILD
Inspired by a book called 'Tiny Homes' by Lloyd Kahn which showcases amazing tiny living spaces, Nick and his wife Polly decided to build their own tiny house on wheels.
After further exploring the Tiny House movement, being inspired by micro living and looking to get the best out of small spaces with creative ideas, Nick and Polly started on their own version in 2013 named, 'the Didikai'.
Measuring approximately xxxx the Didikai Caravan will have an open kitchen/living space, bathroom, mezzanine bedroom level and all the tricks you would expect to find in a tiny home. Plus, in what can only be described as a vardo style gypsy wagon on steroids, the Didikai Caravan has a hydraulic roof which raises the height of the building from xx to xx.
The design and fabrication of all components including custom made steel frame welded and hydraulic system have been made by Nick, putting his many years of experience to work on a truly creative and unique project.
The aim is for the Didikai to be fully off grid and mobile in the future.
